Element building blocks are incomplete packages that are intended to get you started when building new elements. Building blocks are not intended to work just by adding them to the page, but they can save you a lot of time when developing your own elements.

Element Triggers are used by the system to enhance user experience and site functionality by running scripts when actions cause them to trigger. Actions that happen when orders are placed, or connecting to real time 3rd party services and inventory systems are common uses for triggers.
